- Complete Alchemy And Cooking Overhaul. Complete Alchemy And Cooking Overhaul is a unique mod that adds many new food items and crafting mechanics for both alchemy and cooking.
- Clothing Forge Crafting. Crafting armor is a great way to get the exact piece of armor you want, but you can't obtain clothing through this method in Skyrim's base game.
- Ordinator. Perks are a core way to improve your abilities in Skyrim; however, there are a lot of ways that modders can improve the perk system in Skyrim.
- Useful Magical Staves. The staves in Skyrim aren't very powerful, but you can enchant them in any way you like with staff enchanting. However, staff enchanting doesn't offer too many worthwhile options, so you can also use the Useful Magical Staves mod to add the carving system into Skyrim.
- Smithing Oils. Alchemy is useful for crafting potions, but it's also great for crafting poisons for your melee weapons and bows. However, if you create a melee weapons build, you may only level up your Smithing skill and ignore alchemy altogether.
- Honed Metal. With the Honed Metal mod, you unlock the ability to hire blacksmiths to craft gear for you, which means that you can buy powerful weapons and armor from blacksmiths throughout Skyrim even if they don't have them in stock.
- Ars Metallica. The Smithing skill in Skyrim is difficult to level up, and you don't get many rewards if you level it to 100, so many adventurers don't bother with it.
- Hunterborn. Sometimes the best way to enjoy Skyrim is the simplest, which can include picking up a bow and hunting in the fields of Whiterun hold. But hunting in Skyrim gets boring quickly due to a lack of rewards obtained from animals.
- Spell Crafting. The ability to craft spells in Skyrim is a feature that has been absent since launch, with the exception of enchanting and a few other ways to craft magical abilities.
- Skyrim Alchemy Fixed. Alchemy in Skyrim is one of the most diverse types of crafting in the game because of all the combinations and unique types of potions you can create.

- Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul. This might not my absolute personal number one pick for alchemy and cooking mods. But it's also one of my favorite overhauls for Skyrim ever, so I think it belongs here.
- Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons. One of the less immersive things that alchemists have to undergo in Skyrim is watching their hand-crafted potions look exactly like each other.
- Harvest Overhaul. Harvest Overhaul is one of the best alchemy mods simply because you get the ingredients that you really deserve whenever you harvest a plant or flower.
- Babettes Feast. Babette's Feast doesn't add as many new recipes as other mods, but it does make you give a thought or two to what you're going to eat before you prepare it.
- Alchemist Compendium. The Alchemist Compendium is the name of a legendary book that this mod adds to the game. The book holds the secrets to alchemy in Tamriel, and opening it will allow you to see all of the ingredients, its effects, and recipes.
- Herbal Tea. Well technically this isn't an alchemy mod, nor a cooking mod per se. I'm adding it anyway because I think it's actually pretty cool.
- Field Alchemy. Hey, how come alchemist in movies and in old stories got to craft their potions and do their shenanigans on the go, but we don't get to do it in Skyrim?
- Combine Potions. Oh yes. This is one of my favorite mods on the list. It might not be the most efficient or complicated one, but it certainly ups the quality of life of an alchemist by a bunch.
- Gromits Cooking Recipes. Let's be honest; cooking in Skyrim sucks. Who would want to waste their time doing something that barely adds any value to the game?
- Better Stronger and More Effective Deadly Poisons. I think you can guess what this mod does; it basically makes the default poisons stronger and more effective.

I did not use the recipe and exited the Cooking Pot menu, but now the water jug shows that water has been consumed or the jug might be gone. In the Cooking Pot menu the recipe still shows the same amount of water as the last time I looked at the recipe.
